BKV, Banpu Power to Purchase Temple 1 Plant in Texas

Denver, Colorado-based BKV Corp. has partnered with affiliated company Banpu Power US Corp. in an agreement to purchase the Temple 1 natural gas-fired power plant in Temple, Texas, in a $430-million deal expected to close in the fourth quarter of this year.  The 758-megawatt plant, completed in 2014, is one of the cleanest in the country, according to a news release, equipped with modern and efficient combined cycle turbines.
